OK, so it might lack the machismo of the ‘last of the V8 interceptors' but with the ability to do a claimed 190 miles per gallon – or a mere 172mpg two-up – the 1.165 gallon tank promises a range of as much as 221 miles. That's a huge increase over the C125 Super Cub, which only has a 0.81 gallon tank to give a range of 153 miles, and unlike the C125 Super Cub that it's based on, the CT125 can cover those miles over rugged terrain.
Honda Wave 110
Unsurprisingly, the production bike's styling perfectly matches the appearance of the design patents that we revealed here a couple of weeks ago, and it's pretty close to the style of the concept version that Honda showed at last year's Tokyo Motor Show. The Hunter Cub name is being used on the Japanese market version, which was due to make its official first appearance at the now-cancelled Osaka Motorcycle Show, but the bikes sold in Europe and America might yet go under the name ‘Trail 125' – harking back to the old Trail 50 and Trail 110 models sold in years gone by.
